I see both sides.
People are gonna do it, they are just trying to save people's lives.
This country this going to hell fast!!! Everyone should learn how to break the law properly
"NEW YORK ? Do you want to learn a safer way to shoot heroin? New York City has a guide for that.
The city's Department of Healthand Mental Hygiene spent $32,000 of tax money on 70,000 copies that offer information on how to prepare drugs carefully and care for veins to avoid infection."
"The 16-page booklet features seven comics-like illustrations and offers such advice as "Warm your body(jump up and down) to show your veins," and "Find the vein before you try to inject."

One thing about it, that I didn't see in the article, was that it also talks about cutting down on diseases being spread too. That had a guy on Fox the other day talking about it, one of the ones who had something to do with approving it, said if it stopped 1 person from ending up in the hospital or dying, it pays for itself.
Saving 1 persons life is worth exposing many more people to something that they might not have known about or have thought about before that can kill them ? How many idiots will see this and say this "i know how to do this safer i'm going to try it" and then they over dose or get hooked on it and gets into more drugs/criminal activities that will eventually lead to death or death of other innocent people? I'm sure it'll be a higher number than the people it helps. How many heroin addicts are going to give two shits about this? They be too messed up to read it anyways.

1)This pamphlet doesn't expose anyone to heroin, everyone knows what it is.
2) None. I don't believe in the history of people doing drugs, have ever been swayed to do them, by a pamphlet or anything they've read really.
I see nothing negative about it, nothing at all. Will it work or have an impact? Who knows. But does any harm come from it? Not a chance.
I also have serious doubts people are gonna try heroin because they got a brochure showing them how to do it safely.
IV'ing heroin is a very serious process, with teh disease and potential for death, its a pamphlet to save lives. if people are gonna try heroin, they are gonna try it, but its not gonna be because some brochure shows them how.
